my wish list

here i will keep an updated list of items on my wishlist at amazon.com. these are things  that will be very helpful for me to have while i am homeless, but which i can not in anyway afford. you can simply select the item that you wish to donate, and it will be sent to me.

items are listed in order of need.

1. Hi-Tec Athletic Men’s Berkeley Trail Running Shoe–34.46– my current sneakers are all but worn out. they probably have a month or so of life in them. i decided that to upgrade from a sneaker to a trail shoe would make sense since i will be on my feet much of the time

2 .Guardian Gear Vinyl Dog Rain Jacket with Reflective Strip–$12.09–fairly self-explanatory, this will help keep pearl warm and dry on rainy days

3.Advantage Topical Flea Treatment for Dogs –$25.32– while pearl has never really had problems with fleas as she’s mostly an indoor dog. once we are on the streets (and sleeping who knows where, they could become a problem for her.

4.7″ Open Box Mini Netbook Laptop Notebook with WIFI –$59.99– cheaper than a cell phone and a couple of months of service, this very inexpensive computer will make it not only easier for me to keep blogging once i am homeless, but i will be able to continue my housing and employment searches as well. and by downloading skype it will also act as a phone, without the monthly charges associated with cell phones, thereby reducing my expenses. there are plenty of free wifi hotspots in my town, and with a dog using library computers isn’t really an option.

5.Foldable Pocket Cooker–$12.97– having this will allow me to actually cook food and enjoy hot meals. it will also save me precious food stamp money by allowing me to purchase the ingredients to make food, instead of having to buy pre-made foods.

6.One Quart Glass Sprouter Jar w/ Sprouting Strainer Lid– $10.95–this will allow me to sprout beans for eating. allowing me the nutritional benefits of beans without the long cooking times of dried beans or the expense/weight of canned beans.

7.ReVIVE Series Solar ReStore External Battery Pack with Universal USB Charging Port -$27.99– not really essential but it would be advantageous to have this charger so i won’t have to figure out where to find outlets to charge items like my three years old kindle.

8.Wenzel 2008 Windy Pass 0-Degree Mummy Sleeping Bag -$29.99– with summer steadily approaching this item isn’t really necessary at this time, with the temps getting warmer my pearl and i shouldn’t require much more than a blanket for sleeping right now. but come the fall/winter it will be a much needed item.
